Who can apply?

Applicants
Applicants could be non-profit organisations or interest groups or research institutes. They may be collaborating with other interest groups, e.g. privately held companies and authorities.

Applicants could be Danish/European/International.

Joint project support could be relevant, e.g. together with other private foundations, in a public or private partnership (e.g. EU funds) or by applicants’ own funding.

Geography
The Environment and Sustainability Programme will take its starting point in Denmark (including Greenland), and it will spread like rings in the water in the western hemisphere. Activities in Denmark/Europe will often relate to environmental issues in the developing countries, and the extent of funding will therefore indirectly be global.
International projects will come into consideration provided that they meet the requirements concerning subject and form.
