Application only by mail
We are in the process of developing a new electronic application module and will therefore only receive applications by mail. Please send your application form and attachments to

The foundation supports active elderly citizens, gerontological research, ophthalmological research and humanities research projects. The Foundation also supports major projects with cultural, environmental, social or artistic purposes.

The preparation of the application
In the application form (link in right column) we request a number of basic information about the applicant(s) and the project; including a short summary of the project in both Danish and English.
As a supplement to the application form we ask you to attach the following documents (in word or in pdf):
For research projects
summary of the project in Danish
a full description of the project in Danish and in English
the budget – please find guidance and application form here
CV of applicant(s) including a list of publications
letters of approval from other researchers, if any
tenders for larger apparatus, if any
For environment and sustainability projects
summary of the project in Danish and English
a full description of the project in English
the regulations for the association/organisation
the most recent annual accounts
the budget
All appendices, incl. the application, should be sent as one pdf file. If this is not possible, kindly name the files: 01-application, 02-budget, 03-CV, etc.

Sustainability
TheVELUX FOUNDATION is concerned for the project´s environmental footprints and therefore we require a short report about the project´s environmental impact as part of the project description.
